Lamborghini Veneno - Most Expensive Collector's Item

An open racing prototype with an extreme design and breathtaking performance, Lamborghini Veneno is a Limited Production super car based off of the Lamborghini Aventador. Built to celebrate it's 50th anniversary, Lamborghini stated that there are going to be only 9 of Veneno released ever. One of these cars, dubbed Car Zero, is to be placed in Lamborghini's Museum as display vehicle.

The Car is consistently focused on optimum aerodynamics and cornering stability giving it the real dynamic experience of a racing car. The Veneno Roadster accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.9sec and with a top speed of 355km/h it's a beast on road. The Car is driven by a 12 cylinder engine with a displacement of 6.5 litres and is equipped with an extremely fast shifting ISR transmission with 5 modes. With a dry weight of 1,490kg the Veneno Roadster benefit from a power-to-weight ration of just 1.93kg/hp which guarantees a mind blowing performance.

Even the interior is dominated by Carbon Fibre. The carbon fibre mononoque is visible inside the car around central tunnels and the sills.The two lightweight bucket seats are made from Lamborghini's patented Forged Composite. The vowen carbon fibre Carbonskin is used to clad the entire cockpit, part of the seats and the headliner.

All in all, this car is one the great Collector's masterpieces of engineering and design in the world of racing. The price of the car is around $4.3 million.
